Industriellt Bröllop i Konstgalleri: Gretchen + Landen

We Choose the Moon Photography.

Förlovning i Montmarte, Paris

Gretchen: We met through mutual friends. Our first date was at a local tap house – I think we were there for about 4 hours, we eventually had to leave because they were closing. We saw each other almost every day for a few weeks after that and haven\'t stopped since. I knew I was going to marry him on our first date. 3 years into dating we planned a Europe trip. Landen had been a few times but I hadn't, and was dying to. Landen is a planner so he organized the whole thing, what cities, trains, restaurants, museums, everything. Our second stop in the trip was Paris. The first day we arrived I was tired from our train ride from Amsterdam and was grumpy. After we checked into the Airbnb, Landen had the idea of going for a walk and picnic at Montmartre. We stopped at a bodega around the corner and picked up some bread, meat, cheeses and some wine and started our long trek to Montmartre. There were a few mishaps along the way (mostly me being grumpy and then a standoff with a robot toilet) but we finally made it to the top. Landen was more quiet than normal but I just thought "hey, this view is breathtaking, I get it”). We ate our dinner on the steps and then went exploring, finally stopping at a small staircase that overlooked all of Paris. Landen proposed to me there and we continued celebrating. It was perfect, it was Paris!
