Naturnära Augustibröllop På Juvet Landscape Hotel i Norge: Jarrod + Justyna
Drömmer ni om ett naturnära bröllop i Norges magiska landskap? Då är det här bröllopet för er! Jarrod och Justyna älskar att resa och under en äventyrsresa till Norge 2016 förlovade brudparet sig i närheten av den plats vi ska ta oss till idag. När det sedan var dags för bröllop så kändes det klockrent för paret att även gifta sig i den magiska miljö de förälskat sig i och få visa upp platsen för familj och vänner. Med bilder från Nordica Photography tar vi oss till Juvet Landscape Hotel och till Jarrod och Justynas naturnära augustibröllop.
Så träffades brudparet
Jarrod: We met many years ago through Justynas sister and were together for almost 16 years before we got married. We actually got engaged about 20 kilometers from Juvet at the bottom of Trollstigen while traveling through Norway in 2016.
Justyna and I love traveling and really loved Norway and the beauty it has to offer. So we were really excited to share the same experience with our friends and family. It also gave everyone, including my parents, an excuse to travel.
Wedding theme / about the wedding
Jarrod: We wanted a fun laid back weekend get together with our closest friends and family so we let the hotel staff and Chef Chris work their magic. Juvet is buried deep in the beautiful landscape of Norway and off the beaten path and I feel like it embodied the environment and setting we both prefer when traveling or just enjoying our down time.

Jarrod:I went with a custom grey suit and white custom shirt made by Commonwealth Proper in Philadelphia, PA as well as some green accents to match my surroundings. I also wore a pair traditional Norwegian suspenders made outside of Oslo to pay homage to the traditional folk style of the country. Justyna went with a very simple white dress with long sleeves and let the beauty of Juvet speak for itself. She also changed into a party dress for the festivities that followed.

Jarrod: It was raining on and off all day leading up to the ceremony and we were seconds away from having it indoors, all of a sudden it stopped and we got a 15-20 minute window with no rain and the sun even came out from behind the clouds. Our good friend and game night emcee, Lenard, read our vows and roasted us for about 15 minutes, we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way!

Jarrod: We received sage advice from Justynas sister to really invest in a great photographer, someone with the ability to freeze every moment in time. She pointed us in the direction of Nordica Photography and we never looked back. Cole met with us the day prior and got to know us and asked us about our style and how we envisioned it being shot. Justyna and I both agreed on documentary style versus “classic wedding style” and he absolutely nailed it. Not only is he a photo ninja and somehow seemed to be everywhere and capture every moment, the photos perfectly captured the mood and feeling of the day while telling the entire story.
Bästa minnet från dagen
Jarrod: Honestly, the entire weekend! Friends and family arrived from all over the place on a Friday afternoon. The hotel and Chef Chris set up an awesome barbecue where everyone just relaxed, shared good food and drinks, and got settled in. The next morning we all had breakfast then everyone had free time to just enjoy the property and everything Juvet Landscape Hotel had to offer. The ceremony was around 1700 followed by champagne and snacks. Afterward we moved to the barn for a ridiculous dinner prepared by Chef Chris and his staff. Then we just partied the night away, some of us longer than others. I was definitely not the last man standing.
Tips till andra
Jarrod: Pay attention to the details but don’t overthink them to the point of getting stressed out. Weddings are supposed to be fun! Justyna and I put effort into choosing the correct venue and photographer for us which made the rest of the planning as close to stress free as possible.
