Alternative Wedding Inspiration in a Rugged Landscape
We love creative out of the box styled shoots. We are so happy to be able to see the results of new inspirational shoots, and we hope you are too! One of many delights with styled shoots is that they push the boundaries of weddings and we love how the creators behind the shoots dare to try new things.
Today photographer Frkn Falkman shares her thoughts. Here, she wants to show the colder raw side of Sweden and how our landscapes can be beautiful even without golden sunsets and blooming meadows. In her own words:
"The reason why I wanted to do this shoot was to show the charm of getting married in the colder part of the year - what many call “off season”. I love the dramatic, the rugged and the colors tones at this time of year. I simply wanted to create strong, wild portraits of a couple in alternative wedding clothes and capture the love in the storm”.
We love everything about this shoot! The creativity of the photographer, the performance from the models, the way the colors of the clothes really pop, and of course the incredibly beautiful surroundings. Everything fits perfectly together!
We especially want to mention the styling of the groom. The deep emerald suit perfectly matches the reds in the scarf and the flowers. And, perhaps most importantly, the overall style of the groom fits very well with the bride’s dress!
What thought does this shoot awake in you? Please share them with us in a comment!
