Bohemian Elopement in a Rusty Earth Color Palette
Elopements. This popular and alternative type of a wedding have really exploded in recent years. We now see lots of styled shoots, real elopements and other inspiration for wedding sites in the middle of nowhere. We love to show elopement inspiration because they can both be very beautiful and intimate, but also to show that this is a real alternative to a big wedding.
It is hardly a secret that many couples have to put up with family members who meddle perhaps a bit too much with the wedding planning, and this is particularly true for elopements. One might think that it is unfair to “exclude” friends and family on such an important occasion, but after all, this day is about two people who should be able to do what they want. We applaud all couples who dare to keep this special day for themselves, because that is how they want it: An intimate love filled day that turns into a memory that only they share.
Today’s inspiration is for all the boho lovers out there, who consider eloping. Photographer Nikk Nguyen Photo teamed up with wedding coordinator The Ivory Swan and put together this styled shoot in the amazing setting surrounding the amphitheatre Red Rocks, Colorado. This site is rather popular for elopements, probably because of the amazing nature.
What a great dress, with a simple form but detailed lace that flow into a beautiful train. The hair and make up remind us of old Hollywood, yet with a clear touch of contemporary boho. Nice!
The groom got a more toned down and relaxed look.
A leather jacket is a great detail to make your wedding outfit stand out!
What a beautiful and cosy wedding site! Also, please note the style of the arch, which is trending right now: Very simple, with just a few details for effect.
