Styled Elopement With A Luxurious Vintage Look

If you have followed this blog for a while then you know that we at Sisters in Law adore elopements. We love the concept and the meaning, to share something so big with only your partner. It will be another special memory that only the two of you will experience - just as perhaps the first day, the first kiss, the first night of your first common apartment, your engagement. An elopement is a concept that is still relatively new in the wedding world. Even though we have seen quite a lot of them by now, it wasn’t that long ago that elopements had a more negative sound. In several parts of the world it is still very common with larger weddings, because according to traditions, the wedding will be an event that is celebrated with all your friends and family.

For us elopement fans, traditions are there to be broken, right? And we hope you feel the same, because today we will have a look at a styled elopement that takes place among the beautiful mountains around the well-known Lake Como in Italy. A lovely destination elopement with a vintage feel along with rich colors in blue, pink and purple. Enjoy!

A lovely, romantic look of the groom. The subtle colors of the buttonhole flower provide a nice break to the dark colors of the rest of the look. The velvet jacket adds a relaxed feel and softens the black which can otherwise be perceived as a bit harder in the tone.

The cake, made by Melissa's Fine Pastries, looks like a delicious creation in a clear blue color with white top and detailed patterns inspired from the manor of this styled elopement.
