Romantic Wedding In Italy: Martin + Sarah
Among Italian vines and small, ancient houses, we find the destination of today's wedding. Outside Verona, the city of love, near Lake Garda, we find the Relais Corte Guastalla - a magnificent 19th-century mansion. There we will take part of Martin and Sarah's big day, a wedding inspired by the environment, nature and everything that belongs to Italy. And oh, what a beautiful wedding it was! The mixture of the cozy, rural decorations along with a chic look and rustic touches captures the Italian feel so well.
The photographer Mario Casati has done such a nice job behind the camera, and captured all the love and joy that characterizes this wonderful day. There are so many details in this series of photographs that we hope you will be inspired by as much as we are! To name a few, we are very fond of the dotted handkerchief and the characteristic features of the old church.
The Catholic ceremony took place in a very old little church, in the middle of the vineyards. It was a lovely ceremony, which was lined with live music from a quartet. How romantic!
The color palette is clearly visible in the flower creations that adorned the day. A calm mix of white, green and tones in peach were the primary colors. The bride loves peonies, so they were an obvious choice for the florist Tania Muser to use. Tania also made a point of making all table bouquets unique. An easy way to get a mixed with a uniform look in the room. They also used a lot of DIY decorations, which always results in a very cozy and personal result.
What suits better than ice cream at an Italian summer wedding? We love this ice cream cart in vintage style!
