Wedding Portraits On The Beautiful Seattle Coast
When it comes to weddings, a big part of the planning is the ability to compromise. You are two individuals who will not always want the same thing, or maybe you do, but your joint wishes may be stopped due to budget or other obstacles. Sometimes, two things just don’t go together, and then you have to move on with what you like the best - and most times it’s not an easy choice. This was the case for Jessica and Glen when they started to plan their wedding. They wanted to have the wedding in Scottsdale, Arizona, where they lived but Jessica was also in love with the city of Seattle, where she had lived almost her entire life. So there was a part of her wanting to tie the knot there and get some amazing photos in the beautiful nature of the northwest.
The northern american coast of the Pacific is known for it’s dark and moody, and is often adorned with a lot of fog. With her wedding taking place in a completely different part of a very large country, however, Jessica had no great hopes that her wedding photo visions could come true. But then they met photographerTraci Edwards, who photographed their engagement photos. They randomly started talking about Seattle and it turned out that all three of them would be in Seattle - at the same time and just like that an extra wedding photography was planned. An extra photo session before the wedding had turned everything Jessica fantasized about into reality.
They met at the couple's rented accommodation, and then Jessica told Traci about her vision for the Seattle portraits. We doubt that Jessica and Glen are the only ones in a relationship with their hearts in different cities. And even though it might not be possible to get married in several places, it’s not impossible to make a wedding day last more than just the one day. It can be anything from engagement photos to wedding photos before the wedding in a different location, anything you want! And just as you can wear and untraditional dress at a wedding, it goes without saying that it’s possible to have a traditional wedding dress on any other given day as well. Release your imagination!
