Relaxed DIY Wedding Full Of Creativity

If you’re looking for some lovely decorations and small fancy ideas to put together for a wedding, this is the right inspiration for you. Alison and Austin got married in a wonderful backyard, and decorated their wedding with dreamy DIY details. The location had a bohemian feel, so the happy couple decided to make it their own boho-world. It was a colorful and playful wedding in blue, turquoise, green white and red.

As we enjoy the photos from this amazing summer wedding, photographed by Nikk Nguyen Photography we realize that we are on the threshold of early summer and all the wonderfulness of the Swedish wedding season! We hope this season will bring many weddings as glorious as this one, and if you’re planning a summer wedding you might just get inspired by the photos taken on this amazing summer day.

The guestbook is a recurring part of most weddings and gives you an opportunity to get creative. A guestbook will hopefully be saved for many years, and the chances of you looking through it afterwards are the bigger the more fun and the more thought you put into it. This couple presented a polaroid camera, so the guests can supplement their greeting with a picture. Other ways to let the guestbook grow thick is to prepare small questions for the guests to answer or let them write down their favorite memory with the couple and so on. There are lots of fun ideas to apply and feel free to share your own ideas in the comments below this post.

Alison spiced up her dress with a self-made flower belt, a simple and creative way to give her look a little something extra. So beautiful!

Most people probably agree that the evening of the wedding day is the best part of the day. All the nervousness from the wedding ceremony has settled, everyone is in a good mood and perhaps the dancing is in full swing. But, we still want to take a few minutes to walk away from the party to take portraits in the beautiful light of the sunset. Your wedding photographer will surely ask you about this, but as the happy couple it is always good to keep this magic part of the evening in mind.
