Dramatic Wedding Inspiration In Castle Ruin

No wonder we have different thoughts on what a wedding should reflect, that's just the way it is. When one couple want to get married in an industrial venue, another want to plan for an elopement in an African jungle. But one thing that most people agree on is that a wedding should reflect the personalities of the lucky two. The more space the personalities are allowed to take, the more character the wedding gets - of course. A wedding is intimate and personal, usually we invite our closest to celebrate the love and joy.
But what we may not often think of is that we have the opportunity to design our wedding just as we want it - not just how we want the decor and the clothing but also any additional feelings that we want to express. The wedding day doesn’t necessarily need to be filled with flowers and bright colors, if you don’t want to. Perhaps you are a kind of person who has always dreamt of experiencing of outer space, and most of all wants a space theme in dark colors to enhance the feeling of excitement. Or maybe you want to have a wedding related to Halloween? We use environments to express emotions, and the feeling you want to express do not need to be about love. Those feelings are there anyway, through you as a couple and your guests.
The location in this styled shoot is just such a place, chosen to express an additional feeling beyond joy and love. The creators who arranged this magical styled shoot wanted to convey excitement and mystery, and have therefore chosen a deserted castle ruin, covered in fog, as the location for this inspirational wedding. Such a lovely and powerful combination where mystery meets romance!
We’re very excited to share these lovely images with you today, by photographer Lika Banshoya and a creative team of wedding artists. Enjoy!
The bride and groom together with the old, large stone wall give such a magnificent scene!
The color palette consists of the deep colors of burgundy and purple in different shades. Lovely!
Choosing a two-piece is a great way to "design" your own look and find the perfect combination. An ankle-length white tulle skirt has been combined with a loose-fitting lace top with a deep back. Beautiful!
